Officially, thanks to 'Realising the Ambition' pub'd in Feb, Scotland does have a play-based curriculum until at least the end of P1. But we still have to turn it into reality. Until we stop pushing 'age-related standards' in literacy/numeracy, that can't happen.
Some good suggestions from @ObserverUK but it's a shame they haven't checked out research on the importance of relationship-centred play-based pedagogy for the under-7s.

There are 2 choices with schools:
A) The goal is to try to replicate "normal" as far as possible
B) The goal is to provide the best possible education in the existing circumstances using available tools
Most people are focused on A; the correct choice is B

@sam50579799 Fantastic question. Refer to inspirational leaders? During these unprecedented times this is questionable. @CogVarCIC we begin with the basics ‘Johari Window’, self-awareness and reflection. Accountability for our actions and consideration. #Equality#education#diversitymatters
One of the best ways to get students to ask and answer high quality questions is using the Questioning Matrix. Download from our site (and examples below): https://t.co/g2ubTRglhh Any questions on how and when to use, please just ask!
