@SO2portaloos@Cookie2148 Absolutely. I am in violent agreement, but sense that "we" are still in the minority. Until cognitive capacity and ability is afforded the same level of importance as physical fitness by all aspects of command, we will not see the "Cognitive Gap" close.
@SO2portaloos@Cookie2148 If the outcome is a better soldier/NCO/WO/Officer than our enemies then leaders must understand that cognitive development of all ranks is THE most important facet of leadership. I wonder how many of you believe that?
@SO2portaloos@Cookie2148 The issue you describe isn't confined to one segment of leadership. It is a criticism that could be levied at the leadership culture, so far as it is a product and producer of the Army. Leadership is about optimising on outcome by applying influence.
