Personally I would prefer them over all other dates other than the locally grown Jericho valley medjool dates because of the texture and body richness but in reality it comes across as a different kind of fruit, you won’t get that fragrant taste with any other date.

I’d probably want both.

It also appears to be a more durable type of date that might stay fresh longer and ideal for travel etc. but I’m not sure if this is true.
