@Port3Network hack involved unlimited token minting via a Solidity smart contract flaw on BSC—classic EVM vulnerability like weak access controls or overflows. If built on Move VM (e.g., $APT, $SUI, or $MOVE), this likely wouldn't happen: Move treats assets as linear resources that can't be duplicated without explicit code, enforced by unique "capabilities" that prevent unauthorized minting from null addresses.
