But football isn’t exactly an Excel file or a clean backtest; it’s pressure, bad days, crazy upsets and humans making decisions in real time… that’s why we still watch, not just “simulate.”

Maybe - even the best model can’t fully price a black-swan goal – and I’m still betting on human chaos on the pitch.
