@OctopusEnergy My gas has just ended its 2 year fixed and auto renewed to Flexible. I applied online before the end date for the Tracker Gas only tariff but to date heard nothing. Can you please swap my Gas to this Tracker today?
@agile_phil It may be a good idea Phil to send an official update email to all IOG users from Pete@. Not everyone follows social media and then they would need to see those specific posts.
@amywenn@agile_phil This has been discussed a lot. The 1.3 terms state switching "away" from a smart tariff invokes the 30 day rule to return to a smart tariff but if you are changing from smart to smart then you aren't actually leaving a smart tariff so can change anytime. It's the interpretation.
@agile_phil@SJB66 As I was when we first made social media contact many years ago and this is why the Ohme was initially devised having a complex 30 minute system but I would have thought you'd have progressed by now possibly having EVs and heat pumps etc.
@agile_phil@SJB66 This has always been normal behaviour with IOG as I have shown you with my images by DM yesterday. We all probably assumed that this was to help balance the grid for whatever reason. Looks like the algorithms need updating. I can only assume you don't use IOG personally?
@agile_phil@OctopusEnergy It's my experience with my Ohme Home Pro that any 15 minute schedules generated always range between 1.4kW and 3.8kW at a 16A maximum rate. Why would Octopus create a 15 minute period if the intention was not to reduce the kW rate? I posted images showing this earlier.
@agile_phil@DaveLunt97 Ohme do regularly schedule periods at lower kW rates as part of their schedule calculations and these can be as low as the minimum 1.4kW to my maximum of 7.4kW for a timed period.
This is the question that needs addressing by Octopus and Ohme for the new 6 hours maximum.
@MarkCarline@OctopusEnergy As stated in the email it may or may not schedule a charge but you get the equivalent 7p/kWh as a credit which is normally ~51p (7pร~7.4kWh).
@OctopusEnergy I've completed all of the savings sessions but can you please clarify tomorrow's 2 hour session email text stating that with IOG you just get 1 hour of credit? Is this just lazy editing from the standard 1 hour email? Thanks.
@long742668@OctopusEnergy No that's classed as normal house usage at the peak rate. The charge unit like Ohme etc records the kWh used and that data is used by Octopus. So this free session is for your EV only when on IOG and if on the IOF tariff then that battery charge will also be free.
@OctopusEnergy Hello, my billing cycle is the 27th of each month. However since changing to Tracker last week only my gas has been billed yesterday. Can you please bill the electric and align both gas and electric again so they both appear on one bill. Thanks.
@OctopusEnergy You transferred my electric to Tracker yesterday, thank you, however my Home Mini live data isn't showing in the app. It's showing green as it is still connected to the WiFi, is there a procedure to do when changing tariffs? I Would be great if you could check. TY
