Every day, India witnesses corruption cases. Yet very few institutions openly expose irregularities within their own system.
The Indian Army chose transparency in the SSB Kapurthala case and ensured the matter reached the CBI. A few accused individuals cannot define an institution built on decades of sacrifice and unwavering service to the nation.
A proud moment for India and the Indian Army! 🇮🇳🏹

The celebration of the 100th birthday of Col K.S. Bakshi (Kitty Bakshi) by Mahar Regimental Centre is far more than a ceremonial occasion—it is a powerful reminder of the values that define the Indian Army. A veteran who served with distinction in World War II, the Korean War, and the 1948, 1962, 1965, and 1971 wars, Col Bakshi’s extraordinary journey spans some of the most defining chapters of military history.
As a former Commanding Officer of 2 Mahar and later Commandant of the Centre, he exemplified leadership, courage, selfless service, and unwavering dedication to the nation. Honouring him today reflects the finest traditions of the Indian Army, where service is remembered, sacrifice is respected, and veterans remain an integral part of the military family.
In Fauji culture, a soldier is never forgotten and never left behind. The bond forged in uniform transcends rank, time, and generations. Seeing a centurion warrior receive the respect and affection he has earned is a proud moment for every Indian.
A heartfelt salute to Col K.S. Bakshi—an embodiment of duty, honour, and patriotism. May his remarkable life continue to inspire soldiers and citizens alike.

❌ Propaganda accounts are falsely claiming that Manipuri fighters attacked an Indian Army Assam Rifles camp near Tengnoupal and are falsely linking the incident to a retaliation narrative.
✅ FACT: The circulated visuals and narrative are misleading and unrelated to the claim being pushed. Verified reports confirm that the incident being referenced concerns a Kuki village inside Myanmar that was reportedly burnt on 12 May due to localised conflict dynamics along the Manipur–Myanmar frontier between local communities.

Heartiest congratulations to Lt Gen Rajiv Ghai on his appointment as Military Advisor in the National Security Council Secretariat (NSCS).
An officer of the Kumaon Regiment, commissioned from the Indian Military Academy in 1989, Lt Gen Ghai has had a distinguished career spanning over three decades. He has commanded a battalion in the Western Sector, a brigade and division on the Northern borders, served in key appointments in Military Operations, and led the prestigious Chinar Corps in Kashmir.
As DGMO, he emerged as one of the key military leaders behind Operation Sindoor, coordinating and communicating India's response following the Pahalgam terror attack. He became the public face of the Army during the operation and played a central role in the strategic planning and execution that demonstrated India's resolve against cross-border terrorism.
His appointment as the first serving three-star officer to take over as Military Advisor reflects the immense trust reposed in his leadership, operational acumen, and strategic vision. Wishing Lt Gen Ghai continued success in serving the nation in this important role.
The Indian Army stands guard in the harshest conditions imaginable on icy borders, scorching deserts, dense jungles, and during natural disasters without asking who you are, what religion you follow, or which political party you support. Yet, it is deeply disturbing to see increasing instances of soldiers and officers being subjected to disrespect, harassment, and even physical altercations by civilians or local authorities while performing their duties or simply going about their lives.
Criticism of institutions is part of a democracy, but humiliation of those who dedicate their lives to protecting the nation is unacceptable. Every soldier wears the uniform with pride and carries responsibilities that most citizens will never fully understand. The least they deserve is dignity, respect, and fair treatment.
A nation that celebrates its soldiers only during wars and crises, but remains silent when they face mistreatment, sends the wrong message. Respect for the Armed Forces is not about blind worship it is about recognizing sacrifice, discipline, and service to the nation.
India owes its soldiers more than slogans. It owes them respect, support, and the assurance that they will never stand alone when their honor is challenged. 🇮🇳

Media should back off from all Indian military installations and events!
The young officer and his partner deserve congratulations, not a social media trial. Military personnel are human beings too, they serve in difficult conditions, spend long periods away from loved ones, and are entitled to moments of happiness and personal milestones.
At the same time, the growing obsession of social media and sections of the press with the private lives of serving personnel is unhealthy. The focus should remain on their service, professionalism, and sacrifice, not on turning every personal moment into a national spectacle.
Military installations, equipment, and personnel should not become props for endless media debates or content creation. A degree of distance, dignity, and respect is essential. Nations are strengthened when their armed forces are respected for their duty, not constantly scrutinized for their personal lives.
Congratulations and best wishes to the young couple. May they have a life filled with happiness, and may we as a society learn to celebrate without sensationalizing. 🇮🇳 #RespectTheUniform #RespectPrivacy #IndianArmedForces
