Siddaramiah, a day before relinquishing his office, sanctioned โน71 crore towards backward class community halls constructed by private organisations.
Out of 155 organisations, 85 belong to his community.
He has even sanctioned โน50 crore towards the Rakesh Siddaramiah Trust Gadag for the construction of a student hostel.
The state government should explain on what basis these organisations were selected for cores of rupees from government grants?
Have the organisations submitted building plans and estimates to seek government grants?
Why were grants not used to construct hostels by the state government itself?
Why were private players sanctioned crores of rupees?
Why did Siddaramiah sanction on the day he was stepping down?
Will the now-CM dare to probe the background of the organisations and their antecedents? @Narendramurthy@Nimmabhaskar22@Vishwasshettre
Difficult for KA to build the organisation alone. Initial euphoria & sentiments are fine but KA in the end may become disillusioned. Waste of great talent & leadership. Like Dev Fadnavis, he should have persisted with BJP till cleansing of TN BJP.He would have been rewarded well.
My personal thoughts....KA may have overreacted & also BJP central leadership dragged this too long. KA should have been given the reins. Let disgruntled lot thrown out of BJP. Also giving in to EPS was a blunder. But with this new equation, both KA & TN BJP stand weakened.
Shivraj Singh Chauhan did not leave Modi,
Smriti Irani did not leave Modi,
8 times MPs of BJP (non ministers) did not leave Modi.
In Tamilnadu
Modi did not leave Annamalai,
Annamalai left Modi
Only time can answer this paradox.
@sumanthraman@MamataOfficial 0+0=0. TMC is close to becoming extinct in WB. CONgress is already 0 in WB. Marriage between too is going to end up as bigger 0. So keep dreaming. No harm. Mungerilal too dreamt like you for years. ๐
These are termites responsible for KA moving away from BJP. BJP should have stood by KA. These 5 should be consigned to dustbin. Self serving opportunists all.
What is critical for BJP to even โsurviveโ in Tamil Nadu is to remove the following from official positions and decision making roles:
1. Nainar (President)
2. Dr. Tamilisai
3. Vanathi
4. Raghavan
5. Kalyan
Sorry to say, but these 5 people are simply destroying the organisation from within. The party needs a complete overhaul in the TN organisation.
BJP must hand over the reins of the party to the youth who are totally wedded to BJPโs ideology, have abundance of energy and the will to struggle 24*7, 365 days a year with complete commitment and dedication!
The DS identified this man as a major threat to their easy manipulation of India very early on. They desperately tried to stop him from ever leading the country.
The moment he became CM, they ignited issues, branded him with every possible label, attempted to sanction him, and even revoked his visas.
They unleashed tens of thousands of pages of propaganda reports against him, both inside India and abroad. They weaponised the opposition and the courts to flood him with cases from every direction.
Yet he overcame it all. To become the PM of the worldโs largest democracy. Despite all the hit jobs, sabotage, and propaganda, he remains the most popular leader on the planet.
He has turned every adversity into an advantage. "Being Anti-fragile" is his mantra. And he has made India anti-fragile too. We have seen the nation emerge stronger from every crisis thrown at it.
I believe he will also resolve the infowar crisis. The main force behind it will be weakened and broken by him. It will be a fitting feather in his cap before he retires as not only Indiaโs longest serving PM, but its most impactful one.
History will remember him as the one who transformed India not just in infrastructure and development, but forged a confident, self-reliant nation that stands proud on the global stage.
Yes sadly @BSBommai left an economy with 20000 cr revenue surplus and @siddaramaiah converted it into a annual 20000 cr revenue deficit economy, borrowing money to fund his expensive doles program. Funding doles by borrowing is his speciality. Very sad
Excellent news. Yesterday on its front page @livemint, Indiaโs โbad newsโ business paper, warned about โcollapsingโ solar panel exports to high-duty US without mentioning huge domestic demand & growth of the Indian solar industry. It needed a foreigner to set the record straight.
West Bengal is not a state.
It is a wound on Indiaโs eastern flank.
2,216 kilometres.
That is Bengalโs border with Bangladesh.
Practically penetrated.
Every night.
I know.
TMC lost Bengal long back.
But what you are about to readโฆ
never reached television studios.
Early morning.
2023.
New Delhi.
A room with no windows.
No cameras.
No official minutes.
The Prime Minister sat at the head.
NSA beside him.
Home Minister.
Defence Minister.
BSF chief.
RAW officer.
IB officer.
Seven chairs.
One problem.
The IB officer spoke first.
October 2, 2014.
Burdwan.
Khagragarh.
A rented house.
Disguised as a burqa factory.
Inside?
JMB operatives building IEDs.
The blast happened accidentally.
2 dead.
55 IEDs recovered.
RDX.
Hand grenades.
This was not a crime scene.
It was a forward operating base.
Inside India.
Then the BSF chief opened a file.
569 kilometres of border.
Still unfenced.
Land acquisition stalled.
Year after year.
Not incompetence.
Strategy.
Because elections were no longer about ideology.
They were about demography.
Murshidabad.
Malda.
North Dinajpur.
Voter rolls that did not match census data.
Aadhaar cards.
Ration cards.
Voter IDs.
Distributed quietly.
Per head.
Like a business model.
With quarterly targets.
Then came the routes.
ISI.
JMB.
Rohingya identities.
Yaba tablets.
Fake currency.
Small arms.
Myanmar to Bangladesh.
Bangladesh to Bengal.
Bengal to the rest of India.
The Home Minister spoke next.
The Centre wanted BSF jurisdiction expanded.
From 15 km inlandโฆ
to 50.
The TMC Government resisted.
A CM blocking a border forceโฆ
inside her own border state.
Then the NSA placed a map on the table.
22 kilometres.
That is all separating mainland India from the Northeast.
7 states.
40 million people.
One vulnerable corridor.
The Siliguri Corridor.
The Chickenโs Neck.
Bangladesh below it.
China above it.
Lalmonirhat airbase.
135 kilometres away.
And Beijing will take over it soon.
The room went silent.
One voice finally said it.
โDeclare Presidentโs Rule.โ
โTake the border out of state hands.โ
The Prime Minister shook his head.
โNot possible.โ
Courts would intervene.
And Article 356 would not erase,
15 years of engineered demography.
Then came the line nobody wrote down.
โThere is only one permanent solution.โ
No order was issued that day.
No press release.
No announcement.
But a message left that room.
West Bengal.
2026.
Not just an election.
A national security operation,
wearing democratic clothes.
May 2026.
BJP wins Bengal.
378 kilometres of stalled fencing.
Unblocked.
BSF jurisdiction.
Expanded.
NIA and state police.
Coordinated.
The document rackets.
Exposed.
And for the first time in 15 yearsโฆ
The Siliguri Corridor had a government
friendly to Indiaโs security interests.
India had just won something
the world still has no vocabulary for.
But someone in that 2023 room already did.

It does not demand blind belief; it invites enquiry, logic, debate, contemplation, and realization.
This is why Sanatana Dharma has produced โ and continues to produce โ a vast and profound corpus of texts, commentaries, sub-commentaries, debates, and philosophical traditions, each engaging deeply with questions of life, reality, Dharma, the Self, and the Supreme Truth.

trump wants Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Pakistan, Turkey, Egypt and Jordan to sign the Abraham Accords as part of any Iran deal he signs!
Turkey was the first Muslim-majority country that established diplomatic ties with Israel--in 1949. Egypt recognised Israel in 1979, a year after the Camp David Agreement. Jordan signed the Wadi Arabia treaty in 1994 and recognised Israel, a year after the first Oslo agreement was signed.
trump's lack of understanding of even the basics of West Asia is stunning even by his own standards! He is checkmating himself while the Iranians are probably enjoying the game. This demand is dead on arrival.
America is recalibrating.
For all the noise, tariff tensions, Russian oil pressure, and the occasional Trumpian unpredictability, Washington is once again discovering a basic geopolitical truth: India is not a transactional partner. India is a steady friend.
And in todayโs world, that matters.
China is not a normal challenge for America. It is a long-term strategic, technological, military and economic rival. Beijing is not just competing in trade. It is competing in semiconductors, AI, rare earths, maritime routes, ports, supply chains, surveillance technology and influence across the Global South. And of course TAIWAN.
That is why India becomes indispensable.
Not because India will become anyoneโs camp follower. It will not.
But because India gives America something very few countries can: scale, democracy, military weight, market depth, technological capability, maritime geography and civilisational confidence.
Marco Rubioโs visit must be read in that frame. Donald Trump's mid-conference phone call also is in similar vein, to regain the camaraderie with India.
Trade can be negotiated. Tariffs can be argued over. Oil purchases can create friction. But the strategic logic of India-US ties is too big to be derailed by temporary irritants.
India sits at the heart of the Indo-Pacific. India is central to the Quad.
India watches the Indian Ocean.
India has the demographic and economic depth to become a supply-chain alternative. India has the political will to stand up to China on land, at sea and in global forums.
That is why Trumpโs outreach and Rubioโs visit are significant.
The US may flirt with tactical resets with China. It may try to manage Beijing. It may bargain hard. But when Washington looks at the next 25 years, it knows India is the serious partner that can help balance Chinese pressure without becoming a liability.
And Indiaโs achievement under PM Narendra Modi is that this relationship is no longer built on old dependency.
It is built on Indian leverage.
India will buy energy where it serves India.
India will trade where it benefits India.
India will partner with the US without surrendering strategic autonomy.
India will work with the West without becoming a junior partner.
That is the new grammar of Indian diplomacy.
A confident India can disagree with America and still remain valuable to America.
That is why this visit matters.
It shows that despite pressure points, Washington understands that India is not a country to be lectured, sanctioned, patronised or taken for granted.
India is a power to be engaged.
China has made that reality sharper.
And PM Modiโs diplomacy has made it impossible to ignore.

But that will dent images of both,BJP in particular as they are still nonstarter in TN. Best bet for BJP is to give free hand to KA in TN.He has an established image & following.BJP organisation network will help them consolidate & emerge stronger.Old guard should be shunted out.
EGI is a guild of freeloaders & parasites.Since there are no more free lunches & junkets at Govt expenses, these leeches are whining. This is their cry of frustration & desperation. For too long these media cabal lived off tax payers' money& enjoyed proximity to corridors of power.
Another political statement by the EGI. It was a press briefing not a press conference. No questions were expected except one rogue journalist shouted an irrelevant question. The Norway PM did not answer questions either. So is he too intolerant? So why Lie on facts? Big Big Shame on EGI.
As for the rankings, totalitarian regimes, non democracies where there is no free media are ranked higher. it is clear that EGI is part of the Soros Gang in making such fake rankings. Instead of pointing this out, the EGI is part of such fake rankings. Big Big Shame on EGI.
Yes, our PM has not taken press conferences. Is that the only reason why the EGI should be part of the Soros Gang in defaming India and Indians? Are they not part of Indiaโs free media, questioning and criticising the government every day on multiple issues? Is Press Freedom only dependent on a PM giving a press conference?
Do these EGI members not read our newspapers, magazines, watch TV every day where govt is daily abused and criticised?do they not read their own writings?
The fact they write such absurd, obviously motivated statements itself shows our media is free. These are very biased, dishonest, motivated statements, playing partisan politics and taking political sides. Big Shame.
Their bias is shown by the title itselfโฆ. Government โintoleranceโ towards Media questionsโฆ so if a PM does not address a press conference than the Media is not free? Sole criteria of media freedom? Totally ridiculous and silly. Media freedom is a totality of facts not merely based on press conferences. But these people do a typical Hit Job with no credibility.

For decades, the Western diplomatic playbook relied on a simple binary rule:
โYou are either with us, or against us.โ* But standing alongside US Secretary of State Marco Rubio at Hyderabad House, External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar @DrSJaishankar ji quietly dismantled that obsolete framework, delivering a masterclass in modern, power-driven diplomacy.
The message to Washington was unambiguous: โThe United States is a vital strategic partner, but it does not hold a monopoly over Indiaโs geopolitical choices.โ
Washington frequently enters bilateral dialogues expecting exclusive alignments. Yet, as Marco Rubio watched on, Jaishankar laid out Indiaโs reality with clinical precision: India has critical, expanding interests that require managing multiple accounts simultaneously.
By openly putting the US, Europe, Russia, and Ukraine in the same analytical analytical frame, New Delhi has signaled a profound structural shift:
No Special Vetos: The US is a crucial partner in technology, maritime security, and the Indo-Pacific, but it does not get a veto over Indiaโs other bilateral relationships.
Equal Footing: America is treated as an equal partner, not an ideological supervisor. We cooperate where interests converge; we agree to disagree where they diverge.
