This paper shows that Minecraft can function as valid IQ test that correlates well with pen-and-paper tests.
Really interesting: some kids who do badly at traditional IQ tests do really well at the Minecraft version. https://t.co/vkmrtl9bfB
Excited to share some recent modeling progress in an hour! Also v happy to be included with some of the greats in presenting work on surprise, information seeking, & exploration! @SRCDtweets#SRCD21
#SRCD2021 Surprise! @EmilySSumner @garvin_brod @JosephCola2nd and I will present recent findings on: “Learning From Surprise in Childhood: Empirical, Methodological, and Theoretical Advances.” Add it to your schedule here: https://t.co/cK058aeK02
Excited that our lab is *killing it* at #SRCD21 this year! -- Also excited about being able to humble brag about getting _two_ talks in to a conference during a pandemic.
