focus + persistence is the ultimate recipe for success
it’s simple, but it’s hard
the ones who succeed are the ones who “do the thing” and ONLY “the thing” for as long as humanly possible
I dropped out of college, was fired from my valet job, and moved into an apartment that costed double my monthly income
most would view these as a crutch - I viewed them as my superpower
they backed me into a wall and gave me one option
Make it happen
@ColeKosco_ is dropping sauce that should be behind a paywall
TL;DR:
- short form content is the fastest way to find PMF
- start a waitlist using content to get first 1,000 users
- stack distribution channels as you scale
- focus on getting the most eyeballs on product
1 year ago I asked chat GPT how to build an app
Today :
- 2 Million Users
- $1.3 Million MRR
- 1 Billion Views
answering all questions on distribution 🫡
a couple flaws I wnat to point out in these questions
1.) asking about “apps” assuming their is more than one given the MRR is a common mistake in today’s world
2.) asking about margin in year one should be irrelevant , margin SHOULD be low if there is PMF, everything should be reinvested in beginning
@arjunkumarm01 we don’t focus on affiliates, we focus on eyeballs on product
finding top creators in our specific niche and offering them one of our 3 deals
I would first test product market fit with your audience, either ask them, or create a PDF and see the demand for it (that’s actually how I found PMF for my app)
leverage your audience to get enough users to iterate, you don’t need 100k to iterate
then leverage your understanding of content to hire influencers
