Today we marked an important milestone with construction beginning on a new office building that will bring 400 Wake Forest staff into the heart of this growing district and deepen our connection to the city we call home.

This collaboration between Wake Forest, the City of Winston-Salem, the State of North Carolina, and Carter Front Street reflects a core belief of mine: universities have a responsibility to uplift their communities, and together with our partners, we are creating energy and opportunity that extends well beyond our campus.
