Mums from minority backgrounds reported experiencing direct racism. A north African woman reported having headaches, slurred speech & facial asymmetry. Staff ‘wrongly attributed’ her symptoms to “hormones” & ignored her family’s pleas for help. She later died from a brain tumour.
