Electronic adjustable sit/stand desk. Made from 1 sheet of birch ply, controlled by a toggle switch which activates 2 linear actuators. The actuators are powered by a modified Xbox power supply, this supplies each actuator with 12v power.

@SherlockGates @Propopulus_eu It's used frequently in the US in furniture, tends to be stable and knot free. It also machines, glues, stains, and paints really well. Painted face frame cabinetry and solid wood doors are where I have seen it used most. I have no experience of Irish or European grown material.
