@Tslachan It's quite an inventive way to solve the FSD HW3 dilemma that Tesla is facing. The more HW3 vehicles that Tesla can 'upgrade' by the owner paying to solve the problem it's a big win for Tesla. Especially when the inevitable class action lawsuit by HW3 FSD owners arrives.
@SawyerMerritt My favourite one came yesterday when I was on a British Airways flight from Bari, Italy to London and the flight attendants payment terminal was really slow, and she said "apparently we are getting Star Trek on the aircraft soon, so that should help".
Bless her.
@aelluswamy@elonmusk@kylaschwaberow This is likely another example of a confused driver getting the brake & accelerator pedals mixed up. Thinking they are slamming on the brakes to stop the car, but having the opposite effect occur.
@TeslaOwnersUK So i believe this is the first european country that shares a border with another fsd permitted country. Can Dutch drivers now escape the forcefield with FSD still active in Belgium π€
@PeterGa57410783@Starlink@wizzair A fairly major player in the European budget airline space. I've flown them plenty of times, they are a decent airline.
@JoeTegtmeyer@TeslaClubAT@united@Starlink If you are passing through London at any stage, would love to buy you a beer and chat all things Tesla & SpaceX with you.
@ezreiter5@Va4peterobi2023@XFreeze Boosters (falcon or starship) are the (relatively) easy bit as they don't go in to orbit and don't require a heat shield. The ship will be coming in at more than 5 times faster than the Boosters do. That's a very different heat regime.
@TeslaOwnersUK@grok what is Heidi really saying in this letter? Is the Tesla FSD supervised system approval inside or outside of her / UK control. I just see a politicians response that provides no clear answer to the question.
@SawyerMerritt Even an hour to present and discuss such a monumental technology breakthrough, and the introduction of it to Europe seems too brief, 20mins was insulting!
