@SkigerstaBear9 @allanmunro36 This would appear to be because once a vessel joins their fleet they sit back and pay themselves on a job well done. Whereas shipping has always been, as you put one ship into service the next should already be in discussion with builders.
@SkigerstaBear9 CALMAC appear to be operating their maintenance schedules on a reactive as against a planned schedule. Reactive maintenance practice was dying out in the early 2000s.
