I seemed to have sparked some fiery debate. So, I will take the time to respond to some of the comments.

Overwhelmingly, people are in agreement with me. As one person sums it up, "It's insane that we allow foreigners into our government."

Now, to breakdown some of the less logical arguments, starting with Boris Johnson.

1. Did you know that a Bengali Tiger born in Siberia remains a Bengali Tiger?… It does not become a Siberian Tiger. The same logic applies to Boris Johnson being born in New York. Boris is ethnically White British (yes, we know he has a Turkish great-grandfather, cry me a river) and, regardless of where in the world Boris would have been born, he would always remain White British. Just as a Bengali Tiger remains a Bengali Tiger, despite being born in Siberia.

Nusrat Ghani, being ethnically Pakistani, would always be ethnically Pakistani, whether born in Pakistan, the UK or anywhere else in the world. Just as a Bengali Tiger remains a Bengali Tiger, despite being born in Siberia.

To conflate Boris Johnson being born in New York as being the same as Nusrat Ghani being born in Pakistan is beyond ludicrous.

2. There should not be a single Pakistani in the UK House of Commons, and here's why. Pakistanis in the UK are, by far, the most problematic foreign group. Shall I remind you why? The Pakistani Rape Gangs. Terrorist Attacks (e.g., London 7/7 bombs). Inhumane Halal Meat. Misogyny. First-Cousin Marriage and Birth Defects. Pakistanis are the No.1 nationality claiming asylum in the UK, despite there being no war in Pakistan (yes- totally fake asylum claims where 10,000 Pakistanis applied by exploiting a loophole). Calls to introduce Blasphemy Laws for Islam. Calls to build an international airport in Mirpur, Pakistan. Sadiq Khan destroying London. The spread of Mosques and the Islamification of the UK. Sectarian voting blocs that dominate election outcomes. The list goes on and on by the way. So excuse me for not wanting to see Pakistanis in British Politics after the unimaginable damage they have brought to our country.

3. As Aristotle said, "Democracy is possible only within homogenous ethnic groups." We have seen Muslim sectarian voting blocs across the UK (e.g. Naz Shah in Bradford West and Ayoub Khan Birmingham Perry Barr). Nus Ghani is praised as 'The first Muslim woman elected as a Tory MP'. Remember David Cameron's DEI policy of the 'A-list' to bring "Fewer white middle aged men, more women and more people from ethnic minorities" as candidates into the Conservative Party? Well, there you have it.

4. Some argue that Nus Ghani does a good job as Deputy Speaker. Sure, I am not saying she doesn't. But this is not an excuse to demographically replace our own people. We have seen the proportion of the White population across England & Wales decrease from 94% in 1991 to 74% in 2021. Trust me, it's a lot lower now after the Boriswave. DEI policies, in any country, are wrong because they take job opportunities away from the natives.

The Overton window has shifted and people are awake.

He likes her difficult questions and passionate insistence on getting the answers, even if it does make people like Kier Starmer uncomfortable.

Imagine waking up in Britain and reading this, which is the equivalent of what Trump is doing on Day 1:

-a national border emergency is declared

-the military is sent to the Channel to stop the boats

-a national priority is established to eliminate organised gangs on British soil and designate them "terrorists"

-new powers are granted to allow the swift detain and deportation of anybody entering Britain illegally

-all energy constraints including on North Sea gas and oil are removed, Net Zero is effectively put on pause

-fully reform the state, including making it clear civil servants who fail to comply with new gvt will be sacked

-shut down woke ideology in federal institutions and replace hiring with new merit-based hiring review

-force all civil servants back to in-person work

-restore full free speech and end federal censorship

-remove security clearances of any civil servant who has engaged in shut down of free speech

-establish biological sex definitions/bring gender ideology in public institutions to an end

-immediately end all 'Diversity, Equity and Inclusion' programmes across government

-establish a new department of government efficiency and regain centralised control over all NGO funding

-remove all state programmes that increase cost-of-living for British families and consumers

Yesterday, after 11 days of frozen bank accounts, my accounts are finally restored! This was after a 5 minute conversation with someone on the ball from the fraud dept to ascertain that I didn’t in fact write a cheque and that it was clearly forged (since I have the cheque unused in my cheque book), and then there was then an attempt to pay the forged cheque into my account. The payee name was not mine so obviously it was not going to get cashed, so what the scam is here is not clear. It is a shame Nationwide cannot tell me which branch this fraudulent cheque was paid into… just curious. Anyway this could have been sorted in a 5 minute call on day 1. Takeaway from this is to have a secondary bank account.

Thank you for your reply. I called this number today, and at least the Twitter/X reference you gave me got me through to the Fraud Department – though only a frontline junior was allowed to speak to me and after 1.5 hours on the phone, I got the same runaround that there is no information available and that the investigation may continue until 10th Jan 2025(!!), during which time I cannot take money out and cannot use the accounts. The fraud team looking into this mysterious £1,800 credit will not talk to me. Why am I being punished because some clown has wired money into my account that I know nothing about? This is dreadful customer service - particularly because this is an unacceptably long time to be without a bank account and my money frozen. I will report back here with any progress but in the meantime I am taking this up with @Financialombuds. I’ve also lodged a complaint with Nationwide – no doubt I’ll get the same runaround response about keeping me safe or similar but let’s see…

I am going through a nightmare with Nationwide at the moment - last Friday (13th Dec) I received a text from Nationwide saying that there was a suspicious attempted payment into my account for £1,800 (I’ve no idea what it is) and that ALL my accounts are now frozen until 10th Jan 2025 pending a 28 day investigation!! 28 days!!?? My personal account, joint account, my savings account, the childrens’ savings accounts – all frozen, no access. No-one in customer services can explain what this alleged £1,800 is after wasting hours on the phone to them. This is my only bank account, and I have no access, cannot pay bills, and to add insult to injury – after going into the local branch, they’d only let me take £200 in cash saying that was “sufficient to survive on for now”. As a customer of 30 years, this the most appalling customer service I have every experienced. Nationwide – what has gone wrong here with your systems?? PLEASE SORT THIS OUT ASAP! @AskNationwide @financialombuds
