I was talking with a friend who asked me if I had thought about my Wednesday "good morning" post.

I told him there seems to be this misconception that I would be embarrassed if things don't go my way. And it makes me laugh every time I see someone bookmark one of my tweets.

Imagine being ashamed of going all in on what you know to be true and good.

On my childhood kitchen whiteboard, my parents had written "What is popular is not always right. What is right is not always popular." It was on that whiteboard for years.

I choose to believe that Missourians will choose what is good and true. And if that turns out to not be the case? Zero regrets. And it just means we keep trying. My parents didn't raise a quitter. And I've had a lot of people tell me they can't wait for me to crawl back in the hole I (never) came from. They are going to be sorely disappointed.
