Why should farmers get inheritance tax breaks? Here is my take on it. @UKLabour you need to stop hiding behind your flawed figures, if you only want to hit 27% of farmers then make the changes! #stopthefamilyfarmtax

We’re keen to work with land owners/farmers on a contract or share farming basis. We can offer help designing an SFI scheme that will work alongside a non extractive food production system, be that arable or livestock.
Head to our website for more information about what we do!

We’ve no issues with dog walkers using our field margin (that is NOT a footpath). However, some are letting them loose into the field and not cleaning up after themselves. Hoping this will gently remind them they are not just in a field but in fact someone’s business premises! 💩

While eggs have gone up over 45p/dozen on the supermarket shelf, just 10p/dozen has reached the farmer.
Bird Flu at the moment is an easy excuse for supermarkets to make more money, the cost of production is the real issue for shortages on shelves…
Sir David Jason, famous for many things, but you'll know him as Del Boy, shares his reflections on Remembrance.
This powerful moment was captured when @bfbshatch spoke with the acting legend.

We’re really rather disappointed that our application for the Farm equipment and technology fund worth a mere £4K has been turned down on the basis that it wouldn’t deliver adequate environmental, animal health & welfare, and productivity benefits. Bull💩… (1/2)
We applied for electric fencing to aid us with mob grazing our livestock. How this doesn’t meet the criteria is beyond me. Yet large arable farms are receiving £25k towards drills they’d already be buying regardless of their application. Seriously needs sorting out @JanetHughes🤦
So here's a new one on me... Sister spotted lamb in @sainsburys. Flag, British labelling, meat plant suggests UK. Packaging on the sleeve of the product says New Zealand and seems to be from AFFCO.
She's gone back to the lambing shed, swearing a little bit more than normal...
@DarraghScott It’s easy to blame the bull but how many females have there pelvis measured to se if they are capable of breeding. I’m not saying that’s the reason here but it is something to think about in situations like this but it does look a big calf
