Christian, Parent, Pro-life. All views are my own. There is a reason that the most successful Scots made their greatest achievements after moving abroad.
This is majority view of health care professionals😳Even those who are neutral on the principle🫣Opportunistic legislators must instead focus on what people need now😷and do it properly.
"Progressive politics is supposed to be attentive to power, context and inequality. Yet in this debate, those contextual concerns are often stripped away in favour of an oversimplified narrative of individual choice." Pro-choice campaigner Ann Furedi
Lauren Edwards MP says she does not intend to use the Parliament Acts for the assisted suicide Bill.
But co-sponsor Kit Malthouse says MPs should NOT amend it. Keeping the Bill unchanged preserves the Parliament Acts route.
But why do this if you're not intending to use it?🤔
Trusting women includes the 10K+ who are now living with their babies because the 3 day wait gave them the time to choose differently.
Women & children deserve better than a rush to death by abortion just because it suits someone else’s definition of “trust”.
The Greens killed an inquiry because they know what everyone else knows:
The SNP finances scandal is the biggest political scandal in devolution.
Every attempt to block scrutiny only makes them look more guilty.
When Labour MPs like @labourlewis & Lib Dem’s like @EdwardJDavey say trans women (males) are no danger to women in changing rooms & bathrooms they always conveniently forget about the 60% plus of those males already in prison who ID as women, in for sexual assault against …Women!
Lauren Edwards MP is urging the House of Lords to finish its job on the assisted dying bill.
She emphasised that the "anti-democratic" way the bill was blocked by the Upper House motivated her to return it, so that "people can continue to have faith in our democratic system".
If Lauren Edwards and MPs who have supported the assisted suicide Bill in the past don't want to listen to the warnings of pro-life groups, perhaps they might listen to Britain's leading pro-choice campaigner...

What a brazen attempt to bribe voters. The SNP whilst in Govt have had 19 years to invest in Union Street, and they just happen to make this announcement 2 days before a by-election. Shameful.
"Westminster's fault."
The SNP's answer to absolutely everything since 2007.
No accountability. No responsibility. No results.
Just grievance politics on repeat.
🚨This is an important piece from @AnnFuredi, a leading “pro-choice” voice.
You don’t need to be Christian or pro-life to see that the assisted su!c!de bill is reckless and dangerous 👇👇👇
