We are once again devastated to hear of the loss of one of our heroes. Our team has deployed to Arvada and is assisting as needed. All official information will come from @ArvadaPolice.
Oberon Middle School lost a man that did it all. Video shared with me today shows Gordon Beesley, their School Resource Officer, taking a moment to cheer up school staff by singing Christmas carols. It wasn't uncommon for Beesley to share his musical talents during the day. @KDVR
Our hearts go out to @ArvadaPolice and your entire department, the family of the Arvada police officer and your community. We are praying for comfort during this difficult time and offer our deepest condolences.
On behalf of @SheriffSpurlock and the entire Douglas County Sheriff's Office we send our sincere condolences on the loss of a brother in blue as well as an innocent victim. Our thoughts are with the entire Arvada community. #RIPBlue
Arvada Police Officers put out Officer Beesley’s patrol bike and helmet at the growing memorial outside the department. He would often ride alongside students to Oberon Middle School where he was a school resource officer. #9News.
