Collier Row Mosque organised a Litter Picking Day, and we were overwhelmed by the incredible support from the local community especially our amazing young volunteers!
It was a heartwarming sight to see everyone coming together to help keep our streets and environment clean. Events like these not only benefit our surroundings but also teach valuable lessons about responsibility and caring for our planet.
Thank you to everyone who participated your efforts truly made a difference! Let’s continue working together for a cleaner, greener community.

Well done @RomfordRecorder for helping make @LBofHavering accountable for discriminatory manner the organisation is run. Worrying that Chief Exec still suppressing full report, suggests it's even worse than reported and comes from top. Change needed?
@lifehacksNLP @CllrGeorgiou @Councillorsuzie You forgot to add that Conservatives (through Grant Schapps who was transport minister at the time) made TfL funding conditional on ULEZ being expanded
@KeithPrinceAM This is confusing. Isn't ULEZ a Conservative policy, introduced when Johnson was mayor? Even the expansion seems to have been made a contractual obligation forced by Conservatives
@supertanskiii It's hard to conclude anything else. Israel can't say they had intelligence the cars were legit targets as they arranged for WCK to be there at those places and times. WCK followed agreed route and shared coordinates. Plus the 3 (branded) vehicles were hit separately
Disgusting, depraved behaviour from these Israelis. How can anyone want to starve innocent children. They're not worthy of being associated with the peaceful religion of Judaism
@davidandrewt@LilGirlOf7@ysabellahazan You seem to be making up your own narrative to stir hate - not befitting of a councillor. The discussion was clearly about Israel having right to bring criminals to justice but not destroy an entire country killing 000s of civilians. Sad that you're so viciously blood hungry
@LilGirlOf7@davidandrewt@ysabellahazan Israel CAN/should pursue criminals after attacks in land it controls. It CANT argue self-defence & destroy an entire nation. It would be like our gov bombing whole UK to kill the 7/7 bombers. Everyone agrees that's unlawful & barbaric, whereas @davidandrewt seems to justify it
@davidandrewt@LilGirlOf7@ysabellahazan It's not twisted. It's law.
Worrying that a serving councillor would reject the basic rule of law. That is the type of position terrorist organisations and extremist organisations adopt.
@LilGirlOf7@davidandrewt@ysabellahazan Israel has a general right to self defence, but that does NOT apply to Gaza. As Israel illegally occupied and controls Gaza (also official UK position) Oct 7 is deemed to be an internal attack (not external) thus self defence doesn't apply. Otherwise your point is valid
@davidandrewt@ysabellahazan So what did the Israeli sniper "intend" when he executed the Palestinian waiving a white flag following an ITV News interview?
Or the one who executed an elderly mother and her daughter in the last Gazan church before it was bombed, killing a further 18 worshippers?
@davidandrewt@ysabellahazan Except you're not. You're asking why the 'Muslim world' isn't more vocal. Not any other community. You're singling ONE group out.
It's the responsibility of the whole world, not the Muslim world.
How would you describe someone who unfairly targets a specific group?
