If someone says “go ahead” and gets slapped, a later claim likely struggles on its face because consent was given. That said, it always turns on the totality of the circumstances (scope, force, context). In most cases, a viable tort claim is unlikely.
@tenyearsnow The video evidence is inconclusive, and because North Korea tightly controls information and has a history of coerced confessions, it’s hard to treat their claim as reliable without independent verification.

@OBeach19971 @powers_of_psu@PennStateMHKY I’m not representing anyone involved. This is public legal commentary. What specifically do you think is inaccurate?
I understand the context , Seattle’s plan was to “get to Maye, disrupt him” because they saw him as the focus of the Patriots’ offense.
My point isn’t that pressure didn’t matter , it clearly did , it’s that both QBs faced pressure, and one handled it better in similar conditions. That’s a performance observation, not a denial of context. Also, saying “you don’t understand the game of football” isn’t actually an argument ,it’s just an assertion, and it doesn’t address the comparison I’m making.
I disagree. I was making a statement about Drake Maye’s performance, not about the Patriots winning. Both quarterbacks were under a decent amount of pressure , that’s a fact. One QB was simply able to handle it better than the other, and that’s what I meant. Also, Walker didn’t start the game playing like that. He kept getting more and more opportunities because the Pats kept going three-and-out.
@Damir1224 @SavageSports_ “if the offense showed up” Darnold did not have a great game. If you actually think that offensively the Seahawks did well i’m not sure what game you were watching. The pats just couldn’t do anything offensively.
