Colon Cancer Foundation

Please follow the Colorectal Cancer Alliance @ccalliance as they carry on the Colon Cancer Foundation’s life-saving work in memory of Dr. Weber.

Today marks exactly five years since we lost our founder, our inspiration, and our friend, Dr. Weber. Please join us in taking a moment today to remember the impact he made - and continues to make - in so many lives. 💙

#TBT! There are so many wonderful memories of Dr. Weber. Whether he was lecturing, advocating, socializing, or just chilling, he brought a bright, positive energy that no one ever forgot.

We *think* this is Miss Long Island 2018 with our beloved Dr. Weber. Not every day you find a beauty queen at a colon cancer event! 😅

A long, long time ago, when CCF was still the Colon Cancer Challenge Foundation. Look how young Dr. Weber was! #MemoriesMonday

[Colon Cancer Foundation @ColonCancerFdn]

Happy Sunday, all! We're back - briefly - to share some memories with you this week as we approach the fifth anniversary of Dr. Weber's passing. Feel free to follow along and comment your own! 💙

The Colorectal Cancer Alliance will carry on the life-saving work of Dr. Thomas Weber, late-founder and president of the Colon Cancer Foundation, as the organization closes and its assets are donated to the Alliance.

Guys, it's been real. Your support has meant the world to the CCF team. While we are kinda bummed to say goodbye, we're leaving you in the very capable hands of @CCAlliance. We wish you the best, and may we all live to see A World Without Colorectal Cancer™. 💙

#OneMoreTimeBeforeWeGo | Please take a moment to read this tribute to Dr. Thomas K. Weber, who founded the Colon Cancer Challenge in 2003 and gave us 16 more years in the light of his leadership. Even as CCF comes to an end, Dr. Weber's legacy lives on. https://t.co/Ynv7cO0MLC

Red meat, processed foods, sugary drinks...they could all be leading to CRC. This opinion piece examines the link between the Western diet and rising rates of early age-onset colorectal cancer. https://t.co/juOCnqZ3AO

LAST CALL! CCF will hand over the reins to CCA at the end of the week. This is your final opportunity to ask any questions you have about our dissolution, so don't be shy! Comment here or email [email protected].

Tomorrow starts our last week being on your feed, so we want to make sure that you don't miss the tribute to Dr. Weber on CCA's website. He was truly, genuinely a remarkable human. 💙 https://t.co/VmMQHV5n8z

Not us feeling bizarrely sentimental about an inflatable colon. 👀 The Rollin' Colon, along with most of our other educational resources, will go to CCA next month. We'll miss you, big guy. Keep rollin'. @CCAlliance

If you're feeling a little less than amazing today, you're in excellent company. Just remember: you're made of stronger stuff than you think. 💪#TuesdayThoughts

Hat tip to all the dads out there! We know it's supposed to be all about golf and barbecue today, but why not throw in a colonoscopy reminder, too? 👀

[Colon Cancer Foundation @ColonCancerFdn]

It's #FlashbackFriday! Also it's just Friday, period. You made it! If this little boy can finish the Challenge, you can finish the workday. 🏅

[Colon Cancer Foundation @ColonCancerFdn]

ICYMI: the folks at CCA have graciously added to their website this tribute to our legendary Dr. Weber. We are so proud to have advanced his vision for 20 years and look forward to CCA picking up the reins. @CCAlliance https://t.co/TGmllmVGl3

Our time on your feed is (sadly) winding down, as we'll officially hand over the reins to CCA within a month or so, but we want to be a source of helpful information for as long as possible. As always, comment here or email [email protected].

[Colon Cancer Foundation @ColonCancerFdn]

FACT: slow-growing cancer is still cancer. It can still kill you, just not as fast. Don't skip your screenings - no matter how much of a drag they are.

Another throwback pic for #ThrowbackThursday! What's your favorite Challenge memory?

Although we love rainbows🌈 and fun social posts, this month is about so much more. For us, it's about doing our part to help make healthcare safer and more inclusive for everyone. We challenge all our fellow healthcare nonprofits to put #PrideinPractice this & every month!
