@NousResearch I’ll give it a go in the morning and eager to see if it fixes my simple custom theme , which was working around 0.14, but then the colors broke in between then. Maybe this will fix it. 🤞
The next evolution of Hermes Agent is here!
Introducing Hermes Desktop: everything you love about Hermes, now native on your machine.
First demoed in Jensen's GTC keynote, it's now in public preview.
I don’t know that other devs are being manipulative, and probably just trying to fill a gap that was there and mostly the naming and X posts are not explicit enough. Now that the official app is announced then maybe the confusion (by algorithmic ranking) will surface the true winner. 🥇 😃
The Hermes Desktop thing is super confusing for the community right now. There are several and they're all being dubbed as "the Hermes Agent Desktop app" cc: @Teknium

Not sure X is the best for support requests. I suggest you hop into Hermes Agent Discord and check out the support-threads area. First, review the 'Post Guidelines - Read Before Posting', then search for possibly related, existing reports, and then open a new one if not found.

@Saboo_Shubham_@Teknium I'm only flagging, because I've fallen in the trap a few times and I've probably installed each one to see what they do, and it is just something to think about and mindful of when seeing X posts.

Just launched Claude Code session via tmux with @NousResearch free step-3.7-flash model with Hermes Agent to do some code and web research on some WordPress 7.0 new APIs. 🤯
Not gonna lie, Hermes Agent adding an Achievements dashboard might be one of the smartest UX decisions I’ve seen in an AI tool lately.
You start out casually automating workflows… then suddenly you’re chasing badges like:
‘Port 3000 Is Taken’ 😂
It somehow turns debugging chaos, agent experimentation, and terminal pain into a game loop. Absolutely ridiculous. Absolutely effective.
How have the changes in #WordPress over the past few years affected you? No, really, we're asking!
The WPCC has launched the State of the Community survey for anyone who works with, builds on, or just cares about WordPress.
Open now through June 27: https://t.co/oEq8VRAEvu
Been checking out the new https://t.co/HXS2WxzTWX profiles and it’s pretty cool seeing years of contributions all in one place.
Wild to think I’ve been contributing to WordPress Core since 2015 and had the chance to contribute to a handful of major releases along the way. Grateful for everything the open source community has taught me over the years.
CSS keeps getting ridiculously good.
contrast-color() just landed in Baseline 2026.
The browser picks the contrasting text color for you automatically.
Less theme juggling. Less accessibility guesswork. Less “why is this button unreadable in dark mode?” 😅
