Just submitted my next #WordPress plugin for review and I'm super excited for this one.
Great timing too! The submission queue is the lowest I think I've ever seen it. Great job by the plugin review team! π
Having some fun checking out some of the projects from Automattic's Radical Speed Month. I can't stop creating Wapuu's with https://t.co/i3oX92V85G
Introducing Dirk Wigglepuu, star of Wapuu Nights.
@famousish That'd be pretty slick! I recently pushed some changes to the Plugin Directory that adds the ability to replace media and has revisions. If that's useful for your project, here's the source code -- https://t.co/9KzSJWalc9
@thekevingeary I would be curious to know why? Iβm moving away from it on my primary enterprise project.
I both love and hate it, depends on what Iβm building with. For WordPress, no thanks. For React, plenty of benefits.
Yesterday I pushed version 1.1.0 of Block Finder, a simple dashboard widget to help find blocks throughout your sites content, templates and patterns.

Just finished updating my Block Finder plugin to update how it fetches data, and now I'm putting some thought into new features for this release.
It's a pretty simple plugin. Other than an approach to finding blocks across templates, I'm at a loss.

@VivaLaSeth I flipped over to sonnet at the time as I was close to wrapping up. At the time I had fed Claude the Gutenberg repo to see if there were proper support for what I was doing. Worked like a charm!
@apeatling@briancoords Absolutely! You canβt innovate if your head down in legacy all day. Right now weβre still in that honeymoon phase where everything is new and shiny.

@williamsba Love how they state they are updating the price to match what modern marketing teams need. They need better tools for lower prices, not continual price increases because companies are adding AI features that might not even be useful or wanted. The cash grab is real.

@rwkyyy@thekevingeary Right. Have you worked in a camp site before? Sure, I can do a bit more with CSS, but I canβt install plugins.
Asked about this last year, as I wanted to use stuff like Block Visibility, The Icon Block, or Advanced Query Loop but no go.
Lots of room for improvement here!
@rwkyyy@thekevingeary Such as? I have a couple key thing ms to setup, mainly speakers and schedule once the call closes.
Genuinely curious on where I can improve. First time leading the web team. And by team I mean me, myself and I.
Apparently I wasn't finished. Just pushed v1.2.0 which includes better support for multiste, adding a network settings page to configure media file revisions consistently across a network.

The first is done. Smart Media Replacement v1.1.1 is now available.
New features include:
- Replacing media directly in the block editor
- Media file versioning
- Restoring / downloading revisions
- Revisions configurable per file types
- And more...
