@Edinburgh_CC @DrScottArthurMP These recently introduced speed bumps are introducing more risks rather than reduce. They are too far away from the village and bridge to reduce speed and increase risk for vehicles rounding the bend from the village.

@Edinburgh_CC @DrScottArthurMP parking restrictions need to be put in place on Gillespie Road at the speed bumps.Parked cars are forcing vehicles including buses and HGV's onto the wrong side of the road to straddle the bumps to meet oncoming traffic from Colinton Village.

@mototingle @SwintonGroup I just had the same with Motorcycledirect. A month in to a £120 policy cost me almost the full amount to cancel. And their comms was terrible so they tried to add charges. Another to avoid.@EuropaGroupLtd

@edinburghpaper They're already using their powers which is leaving the condition of the roads in a dangerous state. Cars & motorbikes swerving to avoid potholes increasing risk of accidents. @Edinburgh_CC don't act on areas reported numerous times and poorly repair if the do act.

@Edinburgh_CC @DrScottArthurMP @SueJWebber Bonaly Road was shut recently for a utility provider to repair a manhole. The repair is falling apart and the road surface is going to cause damage to vehicles. How about holding them to account and making sure it's repaired properly

@SueJWebber @Edinburgh_CC @DrScottArthurMP first time having a proper look at the repairs, sorry repair singular. Why repair one patch and leave the rest. Incompetence. Most people would be sacked for doing a job like that. Does nobody check work is complete or to a standard?

@Edinburgh_CC @DrScottArthurMP I reported potholes on 09/07 that exist becasue of substandard repairs to previous holes. I had a near miss with a car while on my motorcycle due to the holes. Does it take a RTA before the council act upon something?

@Edinburgh_CC @DrScottArthurMP @SueJWebber 3 months on from when the issues were reported and no update or progress. It's been highlighted that there was a near miss due to the conditions of the road, so are the council now becoming negligent towards their health & safety obligations?

@Edinburgh_CC @DrScottArthurMP @SueJWebber So @Edinburgh_CC dont have the resources to maintain the roads but can send gritters round the pavements in October. No wonder people get frustrated.
