@Drazal1984@LordInfo875@atrupar Thomson Reuters is one of them. A friend of mine worked for them was able to tell me my SS# adress and drivers license. Meanwhile he was only an intern, and the over seas contractors had access to the same info.
@MacroMicroNMike@basedbrodad @MrRedler @unusual_whales As someone who is only 4 years into thier engineering career. 70k was my start, a good start pre-covid, in the middle of no where South Dakota (cheap cost of living). Now post covid I wouldn't accept anything less than 80k. If I lived in a big city I'd say 85k starting.
@Attergangarr@NiceisRich@RealBerwickW@GuyDealership I've owned 3 Silverados, and a cavalier and spent more money to maintain them then I have on the BMW's. The key to older bmws is don't buy the car owned by the younger kid on your street that beat the shit out of it and never did maintenance. Take your time and find a good one.
@Attergangarr@NiceisRich@RealBerwickW@GuyDealership Oil changes, brake pads, wheel bearings are all normal wear items nomral maintenance. The only "odd" items I've done were preventative things for power mods. That would he injectors, spark plugs, and a walnut blast on the intake. All done at home. https://t.co/5r9MfdNXlf for parts
@NiceisRich@RealBerwickW@GuyDealership From the view point of someone that owns 2 10+ yr old bmws. The part that kills you is the labor cost of maintaining at a dealer. With a basic tool set you can do most maintenance but have to be willing to do the work. Both my bmws run better than the 4 American cars I've owned.
Gotta admit it’s really something to see Wall Streeters with a long history of treating our economy as a casino complain about a message board of posters also treating the market as a casino
