If you're an actual Houston resident that wants better mobility options, join us tomorrow morning (10am) at the Rado MKT to discuss the direction of transit in our city.
As a bonus, we start every Friday with a community walk, from Law Harrington (8:45am) & Cuney Homes (9am).
In the coming days, we will begin similar surveys of the MKT Trail.
This information will complement the data from our recent tree and lighting survey of the Columbia Tap Trail, and provide a comprehensive & comparative look at the current conditions of three rail-trails.
One of the best ways to improve the Columbia Tap Trail is by learning lessons from our sister rail-trails across the city. Today, our intrepid team completed its tree canopy survey of the Harrisburg Trail in Second Ward, and begun work on a light survey.
πππ to Mr. Lee!
Your imagination and dedication are both evidenced by your work at the Texas AIDS Memorial Garden, and the Columbia Tap Trail is lucky to have you as a neighbor. ππ
The Texas AIDS Memorial Garden in Houston began as a personal testament to love and loss. Started in 1986 by architect Michael Lee, the living tribute to those lost to AIDS has always faced challenges and neglect, but today there are reasons for hope. https://t.co/4crbxZHfW5
