Colusa County Stands Strong for AB 59!
This week, Colusa County proudly testified in support of AB 59, a crucial bill authored by Assembly Majority Leader @AsmAguiarCurry and sponsored by @NorCAWater.
This vital measure would grant RD 108 the authorization to continue seeking opportunities to develop power through hydroelectric generation. Colusa County has a strong working relationship with RD 108.ย The District is vital in managing and delivering water to grow food. They are also an innovator and educator for Flood Plain Management, Habitat Improvement, and water recharge projects.
We are proud to support AB 59 and the opportunity it presents for RD 108 to reduce its energy costs in an affordable and environmentally responsible way.
