I mean, this playoffs this year had Aaron Gordon with birria beef for a hamstring. Christian Braun with autism, and a gassed Jamal Murray. They just got to be healthy and maybe had a couple of bench pieces
@JMurrayWrld Take out the three good weeks he had when Jokic was out and he was mid last year.
The fact he didn’t want to even try to play in the Wolves series told me all I needed to. I’m not that sad
Personally, I think the big thing that might have blown up Klutch’s plans for Peyton Watson’s huge payday is actually Tari Eason’s contract.
Two pretty damn similar players in my eyes, even though analytics believe Tari Eason is currently much better (which he is, off of being an elite defender and Watson isn’t), but Peyton Watson has the self-creation offensive and shooting upside that Tari Eason doesn’t have, which is deemed more valuable these days.
So Tari Eason, a comparable wing who hit the market on the same day as Watson and signed a deal for 5/81.5, was probably the last thing Klutch and Watson’s team wanted to see.
