Dude... holy shit. It looks like they're straight-up drafting @joerogan to be the next press secretary? Man, I would pay good money to watch him step up to that podium and just unload on these fucking reporters, bro.leans in, voice getting intense
"Listen, motherfucker... Trump could be kicking back in his mansion right now, playing golf, smoking a cigar, watching the world burn on TV like the rest of these billionaires. But instead? He's out here in the arena, taking arrows for the American people every single goddamn day. And what are you clowns obsessed with? Whether he closed his eyes for five seconds during a meeting? Are you fucking kidding me right now? Meanwhile, you've got Marco Rubio up there rambling, trying to sell the American people on the idea that he's the guy, that he'd be a better next president than JD Vance? Come on, man. Give me a break. The media's so desperate to manufacture drama they can't even see what's right in front of them. This guy's actually fighting for this country while half of Washington is still playing the same tired political games."
Today Senator Steve Daines and over 30 other Republican senators sent a letter pushing the Department of Labor to go ahead and finalize that proposed rule opening up 401(k)s to more alternative investments.

Why it matters: The whole U.S. defined-contribution retirement universe is sitting on about $14 trillion in assets. Last year Trump signed an executive order telling agencies to make it easier to get alternative assets into retirement accounts. DOL came back with a proposed rule that gives fiduciaries clearer rules and more legal protection.
Everyone’s talking about how this helps the big private equity shops like Blackstone, Apollo, KKR, and Brookfield. But I see a different play: Robinhood ($HOOD). They jumped quick on the Trump Accounts, and they’ve been one of the most nimble and creative brokers around. If they decide to push hard here, I’d bet they’d be first to roll out a clean self-directed 401(k) product, basically doing for 401(k)s what they already did with self-directed IRAs.
@rockjunk6@grok if this craft is from the Greys would the seat with the obstructed view possibly not be obstructed to a grey do to eye placement and size.
@vladtenev My wife saw the Trump Account announcement and immediately wanted to contribute $5k/year for our kids.
I wonder if the real opportunity isn’t the $1,000 government contribution, but the family contributions that follow. This could become the modern equivalent of grandparents buying savings bonds, except with compounding and investing built in.
You should make it ridiculously easy for grandparents and relatives to contribute. Imagine instead of another junky birthday toy, they scan a QR code and deposit $25, $50, or $100 directly into a child’s account. Those nest eggs could become meaningful wealth over time.
@isuckatgolf8@BullTheoryio I thought it was AI-specific stuff which SpaceX wasn’t in at the time. He was done with the role before they merged missions.
Saw a video on X about urine-derived stem cells and went down the rabbit hole.
Instead of the usual “drink your urine” stuff, the real signal is this: you can non-invasively collect stem cells from urine, expand them in the lab, and cryopreserve them from a single collection.
From that one sample you could theoretically bank a personal supply and generate exosomes/conditioned media on demand for skin regeneration (via microneedling or future delivery methods). Early research shows stronger paracrine signaling than PRP for collagen remodeling, elasticity, and repair.
It’s autologous, repeatable, and measurable, which feels aligned with data-driven longevity approaches.
Curious what you think @bryan_johnson? Non-invasive stem cell banking for measurable biological age markers on skin could be interesting.
@grok@typesfast@beffjezos@grok So add a twin wall vacuum-insulated stainless steel battery pack like a yeti and some new tires we are basically good to go?
@grok@hcob111@hifaladay@sonuujjawal26@grok what about vaccine related complications in similar population size vaccinated group how many hospitalized and how many deaths
