From there they visited and spoke to all ranks in 60 Sqn 4 RLC, as they were establishing their SHQ before moving on to conduct further Ex serials. A really useful experience for the Tp Comds, many of whom are soon due to deploy on Ex and Ops themselves in the Fd Army.
This week, the RLC Tp Comds Cse have visited 4 Regt RLC on Ex IRON CYCLONE. Here they received briefs from CO @4regimentRLC and others in the RHQ, who were deployed as a higher formation for the exercising Sqn.
Today the @DSLAWorthy_Down International Logistics Officers’ course got to visit the home of the @BritishArmy Officer, @RMASandhurst, and receive a tour by the @RMASTrust. Tomorrow and for the rest of the week it is logistic planning time! Prepare the Four Ds.
The International Logistics Officers’ Cse concluded their week by visiting the Logistics Commodities & Services Transformation Programme at the Defence Fulfilment Centre (@TVSSCS, @Kuehne_Nagel, @LeidosInc) and a cultural visit to Chelsea (@RHChelsea & @ChelseaFC). thank you all!
@DSLAWorthy_Down International Logistics Officers’ Cse have been classroom bound with briefs from CO @13AAssltSpRegt on the Global Response Force, DSMO Worthy Down on Med ops and log @ClareWaltonRAF, @OC_DPSTS on deployed fuels capability, and from Comd Wing log planning.
On the road this week, the International Logistics Officers’ Course and @DSLAWorthy_Down have spent the day @DefenceES and @MOD_DSCOM in Abbey Wood focusing on procurement and strategic base outload. Tomorrow we travel to @RAFBrizeNorton to understand Air (A4) operations.
As the first week of the International Logistic Officers’ Course comes to an end, the Officers from Ghana and Kuwait can reflect on lessons learnt from @UKStratCom, @102LOGX, @104Bde, @HQARRC, @DSLAWorthy_Down, and @DCLPA_HQ. We also popped into No 10 Downing Street.
Following a remembrance service the @UKArmyLogistics Tp Comds Cse deployed to Salisbury Plain with @CO_6Regt for their Final Ex of the Cse. Over this week they will command and lead soldiers for the first time, prior to joining units in the @field_army. @DSLAWorthy_Down @LWC_UK
