@_emilybootle you article on "Winnie the Pooh Blood and Honey" makes a string of false statements about copyright law. You've described US law as if it applies in the UK. Under UK/EU copyright, works expire 70 years after the death of the author; date of publication is irrelevant
@praveenlatch Bug in Wheretaken - the input field doesn't strip spaces, and predictive text inserts trailing spaces. So eg. "France " is an invalid guess
LONDON - I'm finally bringing Nightmare Magic back. It's almost an entirely different show from the previews I did @LndnHorrorFest.
See you there.

@aif_alex@SahilBloom The excellent @BabaBrinkman has "rebel against / the tyranny of military intelligence / preemptive strike isn't a synonym for self defense"
@ranikayeo @fakehistoryhunt Yes! Latin quotidianus with (according to Wiktionary) variants including cotidianus. I think most dialects dropped the -s from -us words. So the ancestor of Romance forms would be something like cotidianu, with the French spelling "corrected" to qu- later.
@the_funkhouse Mostly because it's more sharable - inherent conflict or status change, and implication of off the cuff wit and of a fun live experience. The other reason is that it doesn't spoil material 🤷♀️
Just saw Jolly Boat @ComedyTomedy@EdJollyboat and loved every minute of it! If you have an hour it’s well worth heading to one of their shows. Part of the free fringe butyou will WANT to pay them at the end!
@JustGeekingBy @DrHannahBB @edfringe Sadly accessible venues in Edinburgh is a PAIN, so ours isn't - we don't really get a choice in that. Hopefully by shopping around between the different apps etc., one will offer a way to filter by accessibility (I know the fringe soc records this data)
PP Review: Jollyboat. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Lots of laughs in this pun-packed, comedy-music gig. Well crafted and warm hearted. Don't miss this Fringe classic act.
