Comets pick up another win tonight 13-4 vs the cougars on senior night!! Trevor Callahan gets the W and Logan berry closes it out again. Glad our two seniors Peyton Brown and Tanner Glancy can celebrate their special night with a win!
Comets pick up another district win over morgan county 7-2 @ morgan. Trace Tackett pitched an excellent game on the mound over 6 innings. Logan Berry shut things down in the 7th
Comets win back to back after defeating Tolsia 6-0. Ben Wilburn was a machine on the mound throwing his first career complete game shutout, while only allowing 2 hits. The comets will travel to mason county tomorrow looking to pick uo their third win in a row.
Comets bounce back and get the win 8-0 over east carter and are now 1-1 in district play. Callahan was nearly untouchable and had a no hitter through 6 innings. Buddha Brown hit a two run shot to dead center for his fourth homer of the year. Hunter Jessie closed it out.
The second game was dominated by freshman Trevor Callahan. Callahan struck out 12 batters in a complete game, while hitting another home run! Buddha Brown, Logan Berry and Ben Wilburn also hit home runs. The comets have won 4 in a row and have improved to 4-6. Great job guys!
