@ThePeterKelly I did have a manga version of Star Wars that really utilized the kinetic energy of the medium. Now THAT really made the story its own. The space battles and light sabre duels were more exciting, I would argue!

Shot for shot can work somewhat comic to film (Sin City) but not film to comic.
Where’s the demand for comic adaptations anyway? All the artistic work just to copy? If they had something original to say, maybe.

My first exposure to Doc was actually Amazing Spidey 350! Love that Larsen art and it really showed how out-of-his-league Spidey was in comparison.
