Introducing Comma.
For forty years, we have worked for our software. We learned its menus, gave it our time, and stayed at the keyboard until the work was done. Comma exists to turn that around.
No group chats. No crowd of assistants to babysit. Just Comma. Tell it what matters, and it carries the work through, across every device, until it's done.
Open source. Now live on macOS and the web, with more platforms coming soon.

Really like the idea that the chat is just an interface and the Task is what persists. Never having to dig for which conversation had the unfinished work would honestly be the whole appeal.

Serverless JS is useful in more complex scenarios like agent-deployed web backends. Actually we used QuickJS for an earlier prototype but later migrated to eBPF - our agent loops take like 300 KB each and it's hard to justify multiple MBs added just for sandboxing JavaScript :)
eBPF might be esoteric for humans, but not for current frontier models. Our evals find that both open-weight and closed-weight frontier models understand eBPF-C API contracts pretty well.
Comma keeps watch over your inbox, repos and apps 24/7, but a quiet hour costs zero LLM tokens.
Under the hood: agents write their own event loops, compiled to eBPF and run on a formally verified runtime. Here's how 👇

Hello, world.
We're launching a new personal agent product, built on a new agent harness architecture.
No group chats.
No wasted CPU.
And yes, multiple agents can share a single computer.
This is a fundamentally different way to run agent swarms.
Stay tuned.
