I wouldn't say that folks haven't done anything because it's illegal but at least in this case not only is the voucher getting checked but the State database is also checking the eligibility after the fact. Well Trump won the popular vote by a couple million I believe but I guess if you count maybe the most critical counties it's perhaps close to that. But I don't think the race was a toss-up by any means. Trump was closer to winning New York State and New Jersey than Kamala was winning to Texas and Florida which was insane. The betting markets, which were pretty liquid all 2024, had Trump odds at around 60% from the Butler assassination attempt forward.
