This argument is misleading. Abolitionists aren't in favor of 13 yr olds becoming mothers. If a 13 yr old is pregnant, she's ALREADY a mother. We would rather her continuing being a mother instead of becoming a murderer. The 13 yr old needs help to raise not murder her child.

@EnglandCai40400 Btu the answer to the risk shouldn't be murder. The answer is to monitor them closely throughout the pregnancy. An emergency C-section could be done very quickly while trying to save both lives, but you should never kill the baby first then have to remove their corpse.

This post seems to be agitating the culture as intended. It's not the only reason, but one of the reasons I posted this was because I have a 13 yr old daughter and if something like this happened to her, I would NOT permit her to become a murderer.

@PhilemonaLemon Are you confused about the issue of intent? In a "spontaneous abortion" aka "miscarriage", there is no intent from the mother do her baby harm. In an "elective abortion", there is premeditated intent to harm the baby.
