Bernie.
"Thank you, President Trump for bringing together the Oligarchs who run our country."
No, Bernie. Thank YOU. Because I've been sitting here all week trying to figure out how to explain hypocrisy to my students, and you just keep handing me the lesson plan.
So I made you a picture too. It's attached. Same room. Same gold curtains. Same fancy chairs. Same little red boxes with the numbers in them. Just one small change.
Everybody at the table is you.
Bernie the Author, who made millions writing anti-capitalism books. Capitalism paid you to say capitalism doesn't work. That's like a guy getting rich selling "Walking Is Bad For You" pamphlets door to door.
Bernie the Commune Visitor, 1971. Reportedly asked to leave after a few days of talking politics nonstop while everybody else did the actual work. I think that commune had better standards than the Senate does.
Bernie the U.S. Senator since 1991, averaging about one real law a decade.
Bernie on the Fighting Oligarchy Tour, with $221,000 of private jets in one quarter of 2025.
Bernie with Three Houses. Net worth somewhere around three million dollars.
And in the back row, Two Post Offices, Renamed. Standing proud. That's the trophy case, folks. That's thirty-five years.
My favorite part is the speech bubble that says "Obscene... wait, that's me." Because that's exactly what happens every single time you point at somebody else, Bernie. The finger swings around, and there you are.
Now let's talk about your picture.
This is the FOURTH time in about a week you've posted the same group of guys. Last Thursday it was the Xi dinner list. Friday it was the state dinner photo with the red boxes. Saturday it was "THEY WANT IT ALL." And today it's the red boxes again. Senator, at this point it's not a policy position. It's a crush. You think about Elon Musk more than his own mother does.
And here's something funny. Your numbers keep changing.
Last Friday your picture said Elon was worth $928 billion. Today it says $920 billion. Bernie, the man lost EIGHT BILLION DOLLARS in five days, and you didn't even send flowers.
Friday you had Jensen Huang at $186 billion. Today he's at $200 billion. He gained FOURTEEN BILLION DOLLARS in five days.
Now think about that for a second, because it's actually the whole lesson. Did Jensen Huang get a fourteen billion dollar paycheck this week? Did somebody back a truck up to his house? No. His company's stock went up. Did Elon lose eight billion dollars in cash out of his wallet? No. His stock went down. That's what those red boxes are, Bernie. They're the price tags on stock that the market reprices every single day. They're not bank accounts. They're not stolen from anybody. They go up and down like a weather report.
And every time those numbers go up, you know who else goes up? The retired schoolteacher in Vermont with a pension fund. The nurse with a 401(k). The union electrician with an index fund. They own those exact same stocks. So when you scream "obscene" at a red box going up, you're screaming at every working family's retirement account going up. You're like a smoke detector with no battery, Bernie. You make a lot of noise at the wrong time, and when there's actually a fire, you're no help at all.
"The Oligarchs who run our country."
Bernie, do any of them have a vote in the Senate? No. Can Jensen Huang write a law? No. Can Mark Zuckerberg raise your taxes? No. Can Sundar Pichai draft your kid? No. Can Lisa Su put you in jail? No.
You know who CAN do every single one of those things? The government. Congress. You. You've been in the Senate since 1991. If somebody's been "running our country" for thirty-five years, Senator, I've got news for you. Check the name plate on your desk.
These people you circled don't run the country. They run COMPANIES. Companies that employ hundreds of thousands of Americans. Companies that make the phone in your pocket, the computer on your desk, the search engine you used to look up their net worth, the chips inside every AI tool you keep yelling about, and the rockets NASA hires to go to space because the government can't do it as cheap. Every single one of those red boxes is sitting on top of a whole lot of American paychecks.
Meanwhile you've been running your mouth for thirty-five years, and all we've got is two post offices with new signs on them. Bernie, you're a jukebox with one song, and nobody's put a quarter in since 1988.
"While working families struggle to survive due to your disastrous policies."
Bernie, I'm a working family. Four kids. A teacher's paycheck. Ohio. I remember when working families were REALLY struggling. It was June of 2022, and inflation hit 9.1 percent, a forty-year high. That was the year after you chaired the Budget Committee and helped push through 1.9 trillion dollars of spending. I remember standing in the grocery store doing the math on the cart. I remember putting things back.
You know what my family got in the Big Beautiful Bill? No tax on tips for the waitress down the street. No tax on overtime for the guy who works a double. A bigger child tax credit. Lower rates that would have gone UP otherwise. You voted no on every one of those, Bernie. Every one. So forgive me if I don't take lectures on "disastrous policies" from the guy who was steering the car in 2022 and voted against the tow truck in 2025.
That's Quinn's Law Number Seven: it's different when you're a Democrat. When Obama put Mark Zuckerberg at a state dinner in 2015, it was diplomacy. When Biden invited Tim Cook, Sundar Pichai, Satya Nadella, and Sam Altman to a state dinner in 2023, it was a proud moment for American innovation. When Trump sits at a table with the same kinds of people, suddenly it's "the Oligarchs who run our country." Same room. Same guests. Different jersey. Your memory is like a Blockbuster card, Bernie. Nobody's used it in years, and it still thinks it's 1995.
And "obscene."
Senator, let me tell you what I think is obscene.
Obscene is a man with three houses telling working people other folks have too much.
Obscene is flying around on $15,000-an-hour private jets to tell a crowd that other people use too much energy.
Obscene is making millions off books about how making millions is wrong.
Obscene is thirty-five years of a taxpayer salary, a taxpayer pension, and two renamed post offices to show for it.
And obscene is standing in front of working families and blaming the guys who sign paychecks for their struggles, while you're the one who's been sitting in the room that writes the tax code since before some of those workers were born.
So here's my standing offer, Bernie. Same one as always, because you never take it. I keep hearing Democrats scream "obscene" about rich people while they're rich people. They know every loophole in the tax code because they helped write it, and then they use it on their own returns. So before you post one more red box, file your taxes with the standard deduction only. No itemizing. Pay DOUBLE what the IRS says you owe. Sell two of those three houses and give the money to a working family in Burlington. Fly commercial to the next rally.
Then post a picture of THAT. I'll even draw the red box for you.
Quinn's Law Number Twenty-Five: liberals are great at giving away other people's money. Never their own.
You know what you are, Senator? You're a rubber crutch. You look like you're there to help, and the second anybody actually leans on you, they hit the floor.
You're a sundial at night. There's a lot of you standing there, but nobody's getting any use out of it.
You're a piñata with no candy inside. Everybody keeps whacking away, hoping something good will come out, and it's just cardboard and old slogans all the way down.
So thanks again for the picture, Bernie. I liked it so much I made my own. The difference is, everything on mine is true about the guy it's pointing at.
But what do I know? I'm only a physics teacher who knows the difference between net worth and a paycheck, and a guy who can count to two post offices.

Thank you, President Trump for bringing together the Oligarchs who run our country. While working families struggle to survive due to your disastrous policies, they are now worth over $1.7 trillion, including:
Elon Musk: $920 billion
Jeff Bezos: $368 billion
Mark Zuckerberg: $250 billion
Jensen Huang: $200 billion
Obscene.
It is not a good sign when the IRGC shifts from "Death to America" to "Vote Democratic." The IRGC is reportedly encouraging Americans to vote against the GOP in the midterms. https://t.co/QwTj1I7nf4 ...
@BasedMikeLee You do realize you're saying the Democrats are going to do exactly what Trump is ALREADY doing.
What do you think Pam Bondi and Todd Blanche were and have been doing. Especially Blanche.
I have a hunch the next Democrat president will appoint Jack Smith—who weaponized the Department of Justice in a jihad against Joe Biden’s enemies—as Attorney General
If this troubles you, please show up and vote for Republicans—not just in 2028, but also in this year’s midterms
First, Jack Smith and his team violated the Constitution and DOJ’s own procedures to target President Trump and Republicans.
Then, Jack Smith couldn’t recall basic details about his OWN investigation.
Now, Jack Smith has been referred to the DOJ for lying to Congress.
@WhiteHouse Misspelling the name of your country on a document claiming super intelligence is par for the course for this inept band of clowns that works in that building
