ATTENTION TEXAS REPUBLICANS
One of the most important propositions in this year's primary election is Proposition 10. It’s only five words.
Proposition 10
Texas should prohibit Sharia Law.
This is a serious issue. Like Barney used to say, we’ve got to nip it in the bud! Sharia stands in direct
opposition to our Constitution and the freedoms we cherish.
TEXAS PASTORS—-Please help call attention to this major matter, encouraging people to vote YES on Proposition 10 on March 3rd.
Congressman Keith Self, serving Texas's 3rd congressional district is helping to lead the charge on this major issue. I spent some time yesterday on the phone with him discussing this matter.
Culture clashes and concerns regarding Sharia law being implemented in the United States have led Republican leaders in Texas to expand the Sharia-Free America Caucus. Created in December, it now has 42 members who vocally oppose sharia law in the name of protecting Americans’ constitutional rights.

My observation is that unless children growing up in a Christian home get passionate about their walk with God and service for God, it is likely their children will be nominal Christians at best, and their grandchildren will not know God at all.
We are all called to a worthy walk, an urgent walk, and a genuine walk. A form of godliness is not going to win this spiritual war.
"Children in foster care are, by definition, outsiders. They enter homes that are not their own. They arrive without history, familiarity, or trust. They are brought near not because they earned a place, but because someone opened the door.
Every foster child begins on the outside. Every open door tells the same gospel story: Christ brings near those who do not belong so that they might."

We condemn the actions of Don Lemon and the group of activists who stormed Cities Church today in St. Paul, Minnesota, in clear violation of the FACE Act. Christians everywhere should demand that the Department of Justice arrest those who participated. We must protect religious liberty in this country.
The key to spiritual happiness is not getting all we can from God, but yielding all we have to him.
"I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service." Rom. 12:1
The Gospel is not advanced politically. It is advanced through local churches obeying the Great Commission of Christ.
"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you" (Matthew 28:19–20).
"Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit" (John 12:24).

I hope this isn’t true, but I read today that Chip and Joanna Gaines are featuring a gay couple in their new series. If It is true, it is very disappointing. While we are to love people, we should love them enough to tell them the truth of God’s Word. His Word is absolute truth. God loves us, and His design for marriage is between one man and one woman. Promoting something that God defines as sin is in itself sin.
I went to camp for 10 years on the Guadalupe River just a couple miles down from Camp Mystic. This tragedy hits close to home. Since there’s tons of information flying around, here is what I’m hearing from friends and family in the area and with kids at the camps.
Camp Mystic is an all girls Christian camp on the Guadalupe River and opened in 1926 and has been run by the same family since the 1930s. The current owners, Dick and Tweety Eastland, have been with the camp since 1974 and sadly I am hearing that Dick Eastland died in the flooding (unconfirmed) while trying to rescue the young campers in the Bubble Inn and Twins cabins. Those two cabins are along the river and are for the 7-8 year old campers (the youngest age group at the camp). The cabins reportedly washed away and almost, if not all, of the 27 missing kids from Camp Mystic are from those two cabins including two camp counselors (aged 19). At least two of those precious children are confirmed dead by their families and the bodies have been recovered.
There are about 40 summer camps in this area along the Guadalupe River. Thankfully, most of the camps were between terms so they did not have campers on site.
Camp Waldemar, which I attended, was in session but all the cabins are up on a hill and Waldemar has confirmed all campers and counselors are accounted for.
Heart O’ The Hills, a girls camp just down the river from Camp Mystic, was thankfully out of session. However, Jane Ragsdale, the longtime co-owner and director of Heart O' The Hills, died in the floods.
Camp La Junta is the all boys camp across from Mystic. That’s the camp where you’ve seen the footage of the cabin washing away with all the young boys in it. Miraculously, the camp says that all the campers are alive and accounted for.
Camp Stewart, another all boys camp just up the river, was thankfully between terms so no campers were on site. The new campers were set to arrive on July 6 (tomorrow).
Please continue to pray for these families. This is an unspeakable tragedy.
🚨 BREAKING: 23 girls are now MISSING from Christian summer Camp Mystic in Hunt, TX after the area was INUNDATED with flooding, per Lt. Gov. Patrick
The deathtoll is now 13 and rising, with more rain on the way.
PLEASE pray for the missing girls and their families 🙏🏻
Seeing this in America, you should be aware of what’s happening in Texas
- Texas is the number 1 state for fastest growing amount of new Muslim Mosques
- Texas state government has allocated approximately $13 million in taxpayer funds to 18 Islamic organizations just in 2025
- Texas is now ranked 3rd for most Muslim Mosques in the nation
- Texas is expected to overtake California for the number 1 ranking for most mosques nationwide numbers by 2025–2030, potentially as early as 2025 (THIS YEAR) if the rate new mosques being built continues
I'm convinced that many preachers are too busy organizing activities & entertainment, managing employees, and being CEO of a corporation, this has left them with no time to study the word of God.
The result is shallow preaching and a carnal congregation.

As a refugee and a former Muslim, I speak with firsthand knowledge. I know exactly how many people from the Middle East — hundreds of thousands — have entered this country under the name of asylum, and among them are thousands who openly embrace radical Islamic ideology. These individuals do not seek peace, integration, or coexistence; they carry with them a mindset that poses a direct threat to America’s safety, values, and future.
To my American friends:
You must understand — radical Islam is not just a belief system. It is a global threat that aims to suppress human rights, extinguish freedom, and justify violence in the name of faith.
If you open the door to this ideology, you’re not only endangering your country — you are risking the future of all humanity.
America must act decisively. These individuals must be identified and removed before irreversible damage is done.
If you grew up in an extremely strict, “extra” biblical standards, authoritative, controlling, abusive or weird church/ministry… I am sorry. I truly hurt for you.
There are several things you will have to work through in order to have peace and joy in church life again.
1. Holding on to Bitterness and Anger toward bad leaders.
2. Overcorrecting and going into a deep ditch on the other side of the road.
3. Thinking every church is like the bad one you left or got hurt in.
Let me say a few things to you..
God loves you.
Man sure makes a mess out of things.
Find a church that loves Jesus and preaches the Word…then plant your roots deep.
And remember.. ANY ministry or movement that worships a man… WATCH OUT AND RUN!
Give me Father, a purpose deep, In joy or sorrow Thy word to keep;
Faithful and true what e’er the strife, Pleasing Thee in my daily life;
Only one life, ’twill soon be past, Only what’s done for Christ will last. - CT Studd
