just read a hair-raising line in an essay by Katherine Rundellโโyou cannot remain in awe of the familiar, so the only way to maintain wonder is to learnโโand if you need incentive to keep learning, there it is. to stay curious is to stay fascinated.
This morning, Mum suddenly grabbed my hand as we watched the news on #GiselePelicot & said:
"We teach you girls to be so vigilant, to always stay alert, every minute of the day. But now what? How are we supposed to protect you while you're sleeping too?"
And it has broken me.
