Chargers and first-round pick Akheem Mesidor have agreed on a four-year, fully guaranteed deal worth $20,456,392, per agents Robert Bailey and Drew Rosenhaus.
Garrett will make more this year, up from $31.5M to around $37M, but the team is borrowing from a future year on that so the total remains the same.
The reworked contract will turn option bonuses to signing bonuses in some cases and reconfigures workout bonuses that were on the on the back end of the deal.
With the trade to the Rams, talented pass rusher Myles Garrett finally has a top-tier coach with pedigree who can get the most out of his ability in Sean McVay.
