Change:NOW! was a historic, hopeful moment for progressives.
On 30th May, we brought together 800+ campaigners, thinkers, politicians and activists to build the movement for a more democratic future.
At a moment of profound political and economic division, we showed that the values that unite progressives are stronger than the forces pulling us apart. Together, we can build a bold, pragmatic agenda capable of uniting people against the far right.
Andy Burnham has announced a National Commission on electoral reform - we’ve just taken a huge step towards fairer votes.
PR is key to a more equal, sustainable society, and thanks to our 3,000+ members & tens of thousands of supporters, the next Government could deliver it.
Here’s how some of them reacted 👇
🔊Our Chief Executive Will Snell appeared on the @CompassOffice podcast 'It's Bloody Complicated' last week to discuss his new book 'The Fair Necessities: Why We Need a Fairer Britain and How to Make It Happen'.

Whichever party we vote for (and we're a politically diverse bunch!), we all agree: he deserves a nice cold pint for this.
Cheers, Andy! Now let's make it happen.🍻

Kemi Badenoch may not want to 'unite the right' but she might be forced to.
Labour pulling away in the polls and the pressure of big right-wing money might force the regressive parties together.
The strongest section of Kemi Badenoch's speech so far:
"To those who say “unite the right”... we are not uniting with THAT. I don’t want to live in a country run by people who threaten journalists, call veterans traitors and debate whether my mixed-race children are English.
"I don’t want to explain to my son, when we’re watching our brilliant England team play football, that some people don’t think our black players are English.
"I remember back in the day when Ian Wright and John Barnes were playing - nobody was questioning whether they were English. We certainly didn’t have sitting MPs questioning whether they were English.
"We must not let these people take us backwards. That is not the country we are. I don’t know whether you’ve noticed, but I am black. I am British. I’m proud of my country, I’m proud of our history."
