when I adopted you right as the pandemic started, you gave me laughter and comfort in an uncertain time. you were the adoption center’s office cat who loved eating cake

when I walked into a room it was never by myself since you’d waddle behind me always

when I fought depression in 2021 you somehow knew the rare times I would be crying, and would jump on my half-made bed and push your face into mine as if you wanted me to use your ears as tissues

the only thing you loved more than treats was being around people. everyone said you were a dog in cat’s clothing. when you made a cameo on my stream it was the highlight of the entire day

you loved to sleep and eat and constantly had an engine running. I could open a can of tuna in a different area code and you’d probably run over.

and even when they told me before adoption that you were sick and wouldn’t live as long as most cats, I still chose you to come live with me.

you were never picky with who you liked. you spent time with me, my friends, my mom and grandma, people in my life from the past and present, and brought everyone a little bit of extra joy by deciding to buy a plot of real estate on their laps.

you were the best cat, and dare I say the best companion someone could have over these last five years

and maybe if I’m as kind to as many people as you were in your life, I’ll meet you one day again

If you are using 400 DPI & using newer mice/sensors & playing main stream FPS titles please update to 1600 DPI & divide your in game sensitivity by 4. You can safely adjust the Windows mouse sensitivity without consequence to maintain your 400 DPI feeling by setting it to 4/20 (3/11) 0.25. DO NOT CHECK THE BOX FOR ENHANCE POINTER PRECISION.

While every mouse will have different individual values, on average, 400 DPI has significantly more sensor latency compared to 1600 DPI. One example is the Viper 8k being 10ms at 400 DPI versus 4ms at 1600 DPI.

Additionally, I strongly suggest only using 2000Hz Polling as opposed to 4000Hz or 8000Hz options given current game engine capabilities/compatabilities, CPU capabilities, in game FPS demands, and monitor refresh rates used by the majority.

Today we are introducing CS Rating—a precise display of your skill in Counter-Strike 2. With regional and World Leaderboards you'll know exactly how you stack up.

Competitive mode in CS2 now features per-map Skill Groups, so players can master their favorite maps while learning others. And in Counter-Strike 2, match length is changing to 12 round halves, with overtime, to determine a winner.

And beginning today, we are starting the process of inviting as many eligible players as possible to the Limited Test. To be eligible, players must have CS:GO Prime Status, an active Competitive Skill Group, and play the majority of their official matchmaking games in one of the regions where the Limited Test is available.

Start earning your CS Rating in Premier Mode, now available in-game alongside the overhauled de_inferno.
