From $165k salary at 25 β $1M net worth by 30? Hereβs my exact blueprint to be a millionaire in 4.5 years:
Iβm 25 today and my greatest wealth building tool today is my income. I currently make a $165k salary + additional annual bonus.
Today, I have a net worth around $400k. That gives me 4.5 years to make $600k, meaning about $130k/year growth.
That investment amount is split up between about $60k cash, $130k taxable brokerage, $205k retirement accounts (401k, IRA, Pension)
Here is my step by step plan to get there:
Stage 1) The Real Estate Entry
Stage 2) Accumulation Grind
Stage 3) The Dual Income Pivot
Stage 4) Rental Property Start
Stage 5) The Finish Line
@Investingcom $MSFT, $GOOGL and $AMZN headline a week where $V and $MA give the cleanest consumer read. Earnings will test AI spending against cash flow, not just revenue beats. Guidance matters more than the print.
@Mr_Derivatives Tech leads at +0.60% while small caps add +0.42% and the US 30 adds +0.30%. Sunday futures are a mood check, not a trend. The test is whether breadth holds after the cash open.
@KobeissiLetter 18.0% CCC yields and a 13.4% spread over Treasuries say credit is repricing risk, not just equities. Up 500 bps in 6 months, highest since 2020. Watch defaults, not headlines, into earnings week.
I post my numbers here with no name attached. 26, ~$600K, all of it public under a brand. Would you tell your friends your net worth, or keep it private?
$20K in a pension I never think about. $3K in an HSA I max every year. The small lines in my net worth nobody asks about. They still compound. What is the smallest account in your net worth?
Bought a townhome in Nashville in May. Moving for work is off my list now. The house anchored the city, not the job. What would it take for you to move for work?
I max my 401k, my HSA, and my backdoor Roth before a dollar hits my taxable account. $24,500 in the 401k in 2026. The tax code hands out free money. Most people leave it on the table. What order do you fund yours?
Forward PE tells the opposite story. Today it is 18.9, basically the 20-year median. Yardeni just cut his year-end target to 7,900 anyway. Not on earnings, on the multiple shrinking. Which valuation do you actually trust?
@unusual_whales Bought my $400K townhome in May at 26. The $120K number is real, and so is the gap below it. I negotiated 3 months to get my price. In this market the buyers who run the numbers win.
@ramit 5-10% to investments is a participation trophy. Mine runs over 50% post-tax and it still feels slow. Keep the guilt-free bucket. But the math says 10% compounds into nothing over a decade.
@StockMKTNewz $HOOD collecting licenses like revenue. Dubai retail next. A broker's growth is accounts, not features. Watch account adds quarter to quarter, not the press release.
@Mr_Derivatives Nov 2025 to today, $GOOGL returned 0%. Flat years are the tuition. My paycheck buys went in at the same flat line. Nobody celebrates the sideways stretches. That is where the shares get cheap.
@KobeissiLetter Brent at $115 and the Fed still calls 2% a target. Oil is a tax nobody votes on and everybody pays. I invest like 3-4% inflation is normal. The pump is the policy now.
Almost every flight I take is on work travel. Went rent-free for a stretch nomading between trips. The two biggest expenses in life are the ones to hack. What's your best travel hack?
@StockMKTNewz $SOXL down 20% in a single day is the whole case against holding 3x ETFs: daily reset means decay compounds on every round trip. After a day like this, who is still buying the dip in a 3x chip product?
@Mr_Derivatives $SOXX last tested the 200dma in June 2025, $SMH in May 2025. Both hitting it now means the semi trade is breaking trend, not dipping. If the 200dma fails tomorrow, where do buyers step back in?
@GrindeOptions Which number matters more for $META over the next 4 quarters: revenue +26% with price per ad +14%, or FCF of -$2.1B with capex raised to $135-145B? At $650 the ad engine is reaccelerating, but so is the spend.
My grocery rules are boring. Private label everything, Fage yogurt bowl every morning, Honeycrisp apples, Alani Nu, protein first. Cheap because store brand, not because I eat less. What is your cheapest healthy staple?
Shiller PE is at 40.7. In 145 years of data it has only been higher in 1999 and 2000. The long-run average is 17.4. It tells you nothing about next month and a lot about the next decade. Are you buying, holding, or hiding?
