@Saddleworth805 @dlmjnk I don’t think we have bought a bad player (other than the GK) but majority don’t compliment the other signings or pre-existing squad so haven’t had the platform to succeed. Kerkez is great example - for him to succeed you need a more central LW, hybrid RB and a wide attacking RW

@Saddleworth805 @dlmjnk Signing a keeper who can’t play out from the back with 2 fullbacks who like to be high, wide, are poor in the air and aren’t defensive minded alongside 2 strikers and a no 10 with no natural dm. I think we can alll agree that’s not balanced with/without hindsight

@DarylJeannetti It’s also clear the Liverpool players don’t see him in the same light as Gerrard who has been much more supportive of Liverpools players in the last 10 years.

Look at how quick he was to attack konate whenever he made a mistake even when he was excellent in 24-25

@DarylJeannetti Carragher is a good analysit but he can be harsh on Liverpool players - where was the criticism of Cole palmer the last 18months after he proclaimed him the best player in the league while salah was getting nearly 50 G/A?

@Saddleworth805 @dlmjnk Agreed, although given the way we have operated in transfer market during last 3 summer windows (buying the wrong player profile when we spend, not spending in other windows) I don’t think it would take a lot to have an upgrade
