Actually learned a lot of info about this Éderson stuff from United fans on the TL.

He apparently ‘recovered’ from a meniscus injury in just 30 days at the end of the season. That’s extremely abnormal. Unheard of really.

Remember when Atalanta were leaving him out of games at the end of the season just because we were linked? Starting to make sense now.

Think he’s obviously been rushed early, Atalanta knew about it, United have picked up this meniscus issue in the first medical.

Second medical will check the full severity/risks of that particular injury, that’s why it’s been extended.
