Krishna yadav ji thode se bhosdi wale hai wo ye nahi bataenge ki 1999 batch ke ye general wale abhi 2026 me promote huye hai jabki inke saathi obc wale same batch ke 4 saal pahle or sc st wale 6 saal pahle hi promote ho gaye the.
Just 0.7% of the total population is Buddhist.
Time and again, we see a wrong narrative build everywhere that Dalits are not Hindus.
This is a complete misnomer.
The graphic attached from the 2011 census gives the complete data.
Out of 121 crores, only 84.42 lakhs were Buddhists in India.
That comes to 0.7%.
Uttar Pradesh, where BSP emerged as a political force with Buddha Vihars, etc., has just a 0.1% Buddhist population.
Karnataka had 0.16%.
Andhra Pradesh had 0.04%.
Tamil Nadu had 0.02%.
Most of the Buddhist population comes from only one state—Maharashtra—and only one caste of Dalits—Mahars.
There is no great spread of buddhism in India beyond Maharashtra.
Even in Maharashtra it is only one subcaste.
Again, if we take Mahars as a subcaste, within it only 60% are Buddhists; the rest, 40%, are Hindus.
Millions of Dalits in India believe in Hinduism.
They revere their gods.
They believe in their religion.
They are free to profess their religion.
They don't intend to convert nor will they convert.
That does not mean they don't believe or respect Dr. Ambedkar.
Hindu Dalits are just surviving and trying to exist in this country.
Everywhere from political representation to bureaucratic representation, they are the ones who are neglected.
But the onslaught on their culture is mind-blowing.
All those leaders who promote Dalits to convert to other religion, firstly they should convert themselves and post their conversion certificate to other religion in various media.
To say something and do something else is very common among Political leaders today.
