We may have thought climate change would bring warmer weather to Ireland but not the extreme heat coming elsewhere. However the risk for us is the AMOC switch’s off and we end up with a very harsh, cold local environment, while the rest of the world burns. https://t.co/IWLyYN0bIq

@AnalysisGaa Hi Ray, apologies for tweeting like this, but have been struggling to track down your number. I have a quick question. When you are tracking stats, how do you define a tackle?

I have an op-ed in today's Irish Independent about Ireland's public transport system & how awful it is even compared to countries in the developing world.
Best example is Medellín, Colombia, which has far better public transport than anywhere in Ireland.

This year I travelled around the world, doing 15,000km by bus through Mexico, Central & South America. Not once did I have any hassle on a bus.
Was on a Dublin Bus just now minding my own business when young fellas started touching my head & then threw things at me.
WTF?
And so, after 319 days on the road, having circled Earth by everything from dug-out canoes to horses, boats, bikes, buses & aircraft, via 23 countries, we caught us a plane, & found ourselves back home in Ireland again. ❤️❤️❤️🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪

Ok.....we are coming up to the finish line now. This will be the last 🧵On our adventure.
Our last three countries: Vietnam, Cambodia & Thailand.
And the magical Angkor Wat....
And on our last day, we went back to Bangkok, and I wandered over to the Royal Palace, where the king lives. Thailand is another dictatorship, this time under a military junta that staged a coup d'etat in 2014. Beautiful architecture, unlike anything you'd see in Europe.
