@MrShickadance_ Best case this is an indication they are going to stop publishing themselves and are farming 3rd party for content. No need to bring out adventures or rules if other people do the work. Now that could be good or very bad depending on how they manage it and the track record is bad
@MrShickadance_ I would like somebody to really go through the fine print of the exact creative commons license they will be using. Worst case this will allow them to use your work and reuse it through some ai algorithm that trains using everything published under this license.
@pjmegaw Can I jump in front of the spell? I'm likely playing a frontliner so if possible I will sacrifice myself to save the healer. If not we can always go the vengeance route. Last ditch effort, all my martial characters always keep 3 healing potions they never use for themselves
Everyone is excited to welcome Matt Mercer and Felicia Day back to the table for Lost Odyssey: Godfall—a Pathfinder liveplay set in Paizo's world of Golarion!
@ZoranTheBear Hope you get the chance. Personally I'm torn between really wanting to run quest for the frozen flame and playing in it. It seems so much fun to run but also I have a perfect alchemist character to play in it
@Nonat1s Probably never gonna happen but I owe a lot of my capabilities as a gm to Guy from "How to be a great gm". If this brings him to you radar I'll consider this a succes
@VicNekolover Basically all option in pf2e are either common, uncommon or rare. This means everything from items to feats to classes and ancestries can be Uncommon or rare. Anything that's not common a player should always check with the gm if they can use it.
One of the things pf2e doesn't get enough credit for is the rarity system. It literally teaches people to ask for permission. Instead of having to say no to players, Pf2e rules are written to be the "bad guy" and makes the gm the cool dude who allows special exceptions.
@WellLookAtZat@SpicyEncounters I recently ran that encounter as well hela cool 1 player used had a spell to remove ( or at least reduce 1 step) poison and basically saved the party from going down from the poison. Loving that AP so far
@spoonybard1375@MCaterpillow @JustYuxkta @SpicyEncounters at level 17 I had a session involving 2 fights, 1 was a boss fight, we resolved both and had a good hour worth of roleplay in a session of 3,5 hours. while in a 5e game I play in at level 9 we just had a single combat that wasn't meant as a boss encounter last for 2 sessions
@NSeanchai So the usoki comes over to play with the family of nagaji. Could I bring my teddybear poppet character who's scared of all the sticky dough and fire in the bakery but must overcome that fear in order for them to compete in the tri-state backe off? Please?
@DingoDoodles Narrative Declaration has a great show in rotgrind. A pf2e campaign set in a homebrew setting inspired by darksouls. Tanhouser especially is a force of nature ( or at least revolution)

@DanTalksGames "Many digital games". You just know you had to word it like that because x-com games exist 😂 and there is nothing psychological pleasing to miss a 97% chance twice in the same mission
@Easymodestart My personal favorite is pf2e but 13th age is cool, I love the Iron Kingdoms ttrpg but that's discontinued, for gritty games warhammer fantasy roleplay is very cool and the Talisman ttrpg has some fun concepts that make it great for a few quick campaigns
@KalyptaGaming While I enjoyed da2 the biggest issue that game had for me is that it presented different reactions but no single dialogue option ever mattered. The only difference I found impacted by your choices was the order in which you fight the 2 end bosses. It just wasn't a rpg imho
